Sworn translation
Sworn translation is an officially certified translation. An official translation is required when a document issued in one country must be valid for use at the authorities, courts, banks, schools, etc. of another country. Sworn translations are exclusively done by sworn translators. We have established good partnerships with Estonian sworn translators who deliver the translations promptly, so you can always have your documents ready by the required deadline.
Editing/Proofreading
Editing consists of reviewing the translated text by comparing it to the source text, which includes checking the fidelity of the translated content and accuracy and linguistic correctness of the translation. Proofreading consists of reviewing spelling, grammar, typography, syntax and style of the target text according to the purpose of the text. Editing and proofreading is done by highly experienced translators as well as qualified editors.
Interpretation
Interpretation services are usually needed for conferences, trainings or notarial transactions. Based on the nature of a venture, we can provide simultaneous, consecutive or whispered interpreting. If the client is not quite sure what they need, we will help find out and, in case of simultaneous interpreting, also organize the
equipment needed for the venture.
Design and page layout
Design and page layout are mainly needed for PDF file manuals submitted for translation but also for other file formats (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) that may include images. For this job we have excellent desktop publishers who have lots of experience in the translation industry, and always find the best solution to clients’ requests so that the client will receive a target document that, in terms of design, is identical to or even better than the original. Desktop publishers mainly use Adobe InDesign and Illustrator. We also design print files and organise printing, if requested.
